OUR STORY
The rest is history!
Carlos Munoz and CHASSE Project Director, Matt Wedding, met eachother years ago through volunteering for the non-profit organization, Chandler Compadres, and have been great friends ever since. In 2019, they came up with the idea for Pimmex and CHASSE to pursue a Native-owned project together so that they could combine their native status, construction manpower, and plethora of subcontractor relationships for the best team possible.
The project was a success and it didn’t take long for Carlos and Matt to realize that Pimmex and CHASSE's goals are nearly identical! Thus, the rest is history. PIMMEX-CHASSE officially tied the knot as a Joint Venture in March of 2020 and have hit the ground running; or as we like to say, building! Our goal is to focus on sector-specific projects within Arizona's native communities that we KNOW are built better together.
How we got here...
The Native-owned PIMMEX Contracting Corporation was founded by Carlos Munoz in 2008. His vision was founded on the principal to give back to his Native American communities and grow as a contractor in Arizona's competitive market.
CHASSE Building Team was founded by Barry Chasse in 2007. His vision was founded on the concept of team work and building to make a difference; a difference in collaborating and giving back to the Arizona communities we serve and making construction more than just building.
Organically it became clear that we had a shared mission to build efficiently, effectively and sustainably while giving back to the community at the same time. It was a perfect fit, and has been a perfect fit since day one of the partnership.
